This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Return of Persephone, designed from a painting by Sir Frederick Leighton, shows that according to Greek Mythology, Demeter, who is Persephone's mother, gladly greets her daughter, who has been in the clutches of Hades for a long time, and she is welcoming her safe return. Before that, Demeter had gone around scorching everything in her path until she found her daughter. She left no stone unturned, and this scene shows the strong bond and relationship between mother and daughter. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
