This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Mademoiselle Croizette designed from a painting by Carolus-Duran shows an equestrian portrait of a woman astride her well-groomed horse. The artist has managed to capture the horse in motion while a breeze has kicked up blowing the horse's tail and the woman's veil on her riding hat. They appear to be riding along a large body of water along the shore, and the sky is a luminous mixture of many pastels mainly blues, grays, greens and violet. Together they set a striking pose worth noticing and certainly worth stitching for all you equestrian lovers. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
