This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Le Travail (The Work) designed from a painting by Eugene de Blaas shows a young woman who represents the working class by carrying a pot for water on one side and an urn on the other.  Even though she is part of the working class, she wears her colorful clothing with pride casting off anything drab.  Just look at her attire from head to toe with the gold headscarf, a high bodice dress with sleeves rolled up, a colorful skirt with a lively print on a dark background, and red stockings to top off the entire outfit.  It rings true that going to work doesn't have to be a drab experience and the work can be more bearable when wearing a lively attire.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
