This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Her Favorite Pet designed from a painting by Leon Bazile Perrault shows a little girl lovingly holding a white cat which happens to be her favorite pet. While she is surrounded by other cats (one behind her and two at her feet lapping up their milk in a tin), the one she loves the most is the one she is clutching affectionately. Although the cat may not feel the same way, it appears to be tolerating the affection from the young girl and at least is not wriggling out of her grasp and scampering away from her. The look on the young girl's face says it all, that she is in love with her pet! Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
