This fine art counted cross stitch patternDam Square, Amsterdam, was designed from a painting by Jan van der Heyden. It shows the town square and the waterway connecting to the harbor. The artist meticulously replicated every detail of the buildings on canvas, and this urban scene can be replicated on a canvas with a needle and thread. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
