This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Cactus in Bloom designed from a painting by Julian Onderdonk shows a landscape heavily laden with colorful cacti and their flowers. Of note are green cacti and even bluish-green cacti in abundance which adds to the unexpected colorful display. Just beyond the cacti we see hills of gorgeous blue wildflowers shifting ever so slightly in the subtle wind. The branches of the trees are blowing in the distance, and what lies beyond that perhaps is a large body of water. The entire effect is mesmerizing for those of you who love succulents and this would be the pattern for you! Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
