This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled, Breton Woman Seated Under a Large Tree by Ferdinand du Puigaudeau, shows a woman seated beneath an umbrella-like tree undoubtedly seeking its shade to protect her from the golden sun-filled sky. The sky is truly beautiful! Although it is dominated by shades of yellow and a trace of blue, orange is used to offset the more dominant golden colors. No blended colors are used in our patterns. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect. Only full cross stitches are used in our designs.
