This animal counted cross stitch pattern entitled Reindeer in White shows a stunningly beautiful, well-built reindeer appearing in a clearing of the woods. It is covered in short white fur topped off with a pair of bronze antlers with tips that seem to glow depending on how the light catches them. White reindeer are rare, but they do exist. Their whiteness is a form of leucism, which is similar to albinism and occurs in only 1 out of 500 that are domesticated. It is even rarer in wild herds. The beauty of the reindeer shines forth against the blue, hazy, wooded background and the downy, white snow. If you ever wanted to stitch something rare and beautiful, this is the perfect pattern for you! Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
