This vintage counted cross stitch pattern entitled Victorian Angel shows a youthful angel surrounded by an array of romantic flowers of which style is characteristic of the Victorian Era and fashion. The roses, in the Victorian Era, symbolized love, and in this scene the angel is surrounded by love. Of note is that she happens to be wearing a wreath of daisies. Daisies during Victorian times symbolized purity. This pattern uses a palette of warm bright colors suitable for those who love warm colors as opposed to cool colors. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
