This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled A Beauty with Doves designed from a painting by Charles Joshua Chaplin shows a young woman dressed in yellow and lace holding her precious pet doves, one in her arms and the other on her lap. She has placed a pink ribbon around one of the birds' neck. The background is a mixture of sage-colored leaves from a nearby tree that accentuate and complement the shades of yellow in her dress. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
