This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Woman with Seashell designed from a painting by William Adolphe Bouguereau shows a nude of a beautiful full-bodied woman kneeling in front of a grotto on a beach and listening to the ocean from a seashell she has found on shore. The walls of the grotto or sea cave are very dark, and the woman's body strikes a striking pose against the dark background. There is an opening in the grotto where we can see the blue and violet-colored ocean waters that appear to be calm. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
