This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled At the Garden Door designed from a painting by John William Godward shows a young woman standing in the doorway that overlooks the garden dressed in rust-colored burnt sienna attire. It apparently is a very hot day as she is holding the only thing that enables her to cool off which is her fan. The door behind her is partially open to let in a breeze, and there are plants and flowers near the doorway ready to greet her. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
