This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Golden Hour designed from a painting by Enrique Serra y Auque shows a beautiful waterscape at a pond surrounded by flowering trees with their leaves floating on top of the water. The large gray boulders form a boundary accentuating the breadth of the pond. A statue just off to the left is the perfect catalyst for a time of quiet reflection. The term "the golden hour" in this scene means the time between sunset and sunrise where things in nature are changing in their surroundings, but are incomplete. It's a time that usually is not witnessed by anyone, but it's necessary for the changes in nature to take place. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
