This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Little Knitter designed from a painting by William Adolphe Bouguereau shows a young girl sitting on a planter with her knitting project in her lap. She is wrapped in a gray wrap and is wearing peasant type clothing. She embodies the everyday life of those who live in rural areas and perform certain daily chores for survival. Tall red flowers are growing in the planter around the corner, and it is a bright and sunny day. In spite of the sunny day, the little girl looks as though she is in deep thought about something and is also probably using her knitting project to help sort out things in her mind. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
