This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Yseult the Blonde designed from a painting by Gaston Bussiere shows a portrait of the Irish Princess Yseult, daughter of King Anguish of Ireland and Queen Yseult the Elder. This depiction by the artist represents a story in mythology where Tristan's duty was to go to Ireland and bring Yseult back to marry his uncle; instead, the couple drank a love potion which made them fall in love with each other. The portrait of the Princess Yseult is very colorful, and she wears a crown and headdress along with a golden collared sash covering the front of her attire. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
