This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Portrait of Anne-Felicite Gresille designed from a painting by Marie Garielle Capet shows a woman posing for the artist in a blue upholstered chair. She is dressed in a powder blue dress adorned with gossamer ruffles and flowers on her bodice. Her hairstyle is indicative of the styles worn by women in France of her era influenced by the Rococo movement which meant elaborate wigs and extensions in their hair during that time, and on top of her head she wears a scarf made of silk. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
