This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Italian Girl Drawing Water designed from a painting by William Adolphe Bouguereau shows a young woman leaning on her urn near a water well. She has stopped to rest before filling up her urn full of water to carry back to her home in the village. The colors in the scene are mostly dark and subdued and are in strong contrast to the white of her clothing; yet her beauty still shines through. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
