This vintage counted cross stitch pattern entitled Calling it a Day shows a chubby little girl who appears to have played very hard and is barely making it up the steps to go in for a nap. She is wearing a red romper; her cheeks are flushed from playing hard, and her doll is happy to see her. Along the nearby wall is a trailing vine with heart-shaped leaves that adds further charm to the entire scene. No blended colors are used in our patterns. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect. Only full cross stitches are used in our designs.
