This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Secret Message designed from a painting by Francois Boucher shows a beautiful woman sitting in a garden setting where a dove has just landed carrying a note from her lover. Just before that she had engaged in gathering pink blossoms in baskets to later create a gorgeous bouquet for her table. As she reads the note from her lover, it is clear to see that she dotes on every word and is in a dream-like state mesmerized by his words. She has removed her hat and has discarded her shoes preferring to get completely comfortable while she reads the message. The scene was painted in Rococo style, and she is surrounded by beautiful trees and greenery that are in a number of gorgeous shades of green. Even the trees bend to sort of cradle her as she sits quietly in an idylic setting. This pattern would be perfect for any formal setting. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
