This New England counted cross stitch pattern entitled Charles A. Jordan House shows a very grand home in design in shades of two-toned blues with gray roofing. Shrouded in mature pines and low-lying shrubs, the Charles A. Jordan House is a historic home that was built in 1880. It was owned by its namesake who was a master builder and was proud of his work. The building is a large three-story masterpiece with southern charm that is the epitome of the Empire style. This work of art was definitely meant to showcase the builder’s talents. Charles Jordan also built other residences and buildings including schools and the Avon Mill. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
