This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Oregon Trail designed from a painting by Albert Bierstadt shows settlers blazing the Oregon trail to claim the land and call it home.  Their covered wagon is parked under a tree, and they have built a fire to keep warm during the night.  The glow from the campfire illuminates the settlers talking amongst each other.  The moon is full and fills the evening sky with a beautiful glow.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
