"Dolce Far Niente" literally means sweet doing nothing which is portrayed in this scene. The woman is lying on animal pelts next to an inviting pond while relaxing and enjoying her free time which is hers to do as she wishes. The pond is graced with water lilies, and various plants are slightly blowing in the wind from a gentle breeze. The scene creates a state of tranquility here.
