This fantasy counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Flying Orange designed from a painting by Tracey Marvel Kramer shows an orange flying across the sky amidst the cumulus clouds and over the ocean. Seagulls are flying near the orange puzzled yet curious about the strange giant orb in the sky. This pattern represents a dream I had as a teenager and it has always stuck with me whenever I see or eat an orange. My imagination is boundless and I never know where it's going to take me. I also painted a picture of a flying garbage can, but that's another story. Anyway, if you have the same taste as mine as far as fantasy, this would be a fun picture to stitch! Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
