This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Bombardment of Algiers designed from a painting by George Chambers shows Great Britain and the Netherlands coming together on the open seas to abolish the unsavory slavery and pirating practices going on in Algiers with offenders known as the Barbary Pirates. The waters are lit up with flames as the battle rages on and the mission was accomplished. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
