This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Madame de la Porte designed from a painting by Jean-Marc Nattier shows the portrait of a fellow-painter's wife dressed in the height of fashion in her formal attire of a beautiful white satin gown with a low-cut bodice embellished with ribboned satin bows and inlaid gold embroidery, topped off with a cerulean blue sash. Her hair is coifed in a simple style yet adorned with flowers.  She is blushing profusely in this portrait, which enhances her beauty.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
