This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Michael's Castle from Lebiazhy Canal designed from a painting by Alexey Bogolyubo shows the serene canal flanked by a bevy of splendid bronze, orange and red-leafed trees leading to the stately castle off in the distance. People are in the canal going about their daily duties including a canoe with three passengers. Two women are on the right side of the canal engaged in washing their clothes. On the right of the canal, we can see a row of evenly spaced trees. The color of the sky is interesting in that it almost reflects the warmth from the autumn colors from the trees. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
