This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled By the Lake of Uri designed from a painting by Gemalde von Alexandre Calame shows the calm stunning Lake Uri surrounded by the rugged Swiss Alps. The lake itself is a pure blue that is in sharp contrast to the colors of the surrounding mountains. The mountains themselves are multiple colors of fervent green which represents the moss and other vegetation, slate gray, tan, blue as a reflection off Lake Uri, and some of the peaks are snow-covered. The sky is a strong light blue with a few wispy clouds hovering over the entire scene.
