This landscape counted cross stitch pattern entitled Lake McDonald at Sunset located in the Glacier National Park in Montana shows the mountain range and sky during the early evening hours with glorious colors that rival all other sunsets.  The jewel-toned colors range from blue, purple, violet and red to mauve and orange.  What a spectacular array of colors on display for nature lovers from around the world to enjoy!  The lake is the largest lake in the park measuring 10 miles long, 472 feet wide and 500 feet deep.  Fish that inhabit the lake are Lake trout, Bull trout, Rainbow trout, Sockeye salmon and Mountain whitefish.  What makes this lake special is that it is surrounded by mountains that act as a rain block.  It is definitely a place to visit and is worth the stitch!  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
