This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Bluebonnet Field designed from a painting by Julian Onderdonk shows a hill overrun with a carpet of gorgeous bluebonnet flowers that go far beyond the initial hill and into the golden sunset. The low growing trees tolerate the mass of flowers well and accept the adornment without protest. Our eyes follow a makeshift trail that leads over the hill and then disappears. This striking shade of blue is arresting to the eyes, and we cannot help but to appreciate the floral beauty displayed here. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
