This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Home of the Bees designed from a painting by William Hammer shows two beehives in a colorful flower garden located under a large tree. The tree works to shield the beehives from the hot sun and is the perfect place for the hives. In the distance, tall shrubs frame the garden space, and there is a wooden gate at the entrance. What is prominent in this scene is the explosion of colors and textures which really please the senses and would be a pleasure to stitch. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
