This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Golden Ladder designed from a painting by Anne-Francois-Louis Janmot shows two young women who have been fast asleep dreaming the same dream of nine angels carrying musical instruments alternating up and down a golden staircase that leads towards the heavens and God. The angels perpetually ascend and descend the stairs and show no sign of rest or growing weary. It is a beautiful sight, and the light closest to the heavens is blinding and so bright which indicates the presence of God Himself. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
