This bird counted cross stitch pattern entitled Ibis by the Falls designed from a painting by Tracey Marvel Kramer shows the striking pose of a very graceful bird, an Ibis, that is perched on the rocks near a waterfall. The Ibis is almost all white with a tuft of black tailfeathers and has an orange/yellow beak. It's long neck is languid in morion as the bird moves with fluid and grace. Dark clouds have formed in the sky overhead leaving a trail of gray with white clouds underneath which mimic the motion and color of the falls themselves. Tropical-like vegetation with yellow and red flowers are growing near the ridge of the falls. It's a paradise-like setting that could possibly bring your blood pressure down a notch or two and is certainly worth the stitch! Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
